HI Tom,

Here is how I made it:

First, make one blade. Name it lever_prop_pitch0_XX (or was it lever_prop0_pitch_XX?). Animate it to be at fine pitch at keyframe 0 and at feather pitch at keyframe 100. Then, clone it (or make an array) to have the necessary number of blades for one prop. Once they are correctly placed around the spinner, group them and give the group the name prop0_still_XX. The result is that each blade will change pitch angle according to the pitch lever position, and the wole group will rotate as they should around the spinner.

One advice, texture the blade before cloning, you'll save much time.

Make sure the axis are correct for the group to rotate around the forward-aft axis. If the prop rotates around a vertical or horizontal axis, thry to swap the pivot point's axis.

Hi Inspector,

If you are going to put this into the TIPS section, you need to make one change. Instead of grouping them together, you need to link all the prop blades (now named lever_prop_pitch0_XX) to the prop0_still part (the spinner or a dummy object), and then all works great!
